Given the ever-increasing need of technology in the financial sector, I wanted to strengthen my financial background with a course that is coding and mathematics intensive. The course in Risk Management & Financial Engineering offered by Imperial was the only one in Europe to emphasis the application of coding in real-life financial issues. My choice of postgraduate destination was simple as Imperial is undeniably one of the best universities in the world in Sciences and Technology.
When considering the graduate programme at Imperial, I had the opportunity to attend an Open Day. I found that speaking to one of the current RMFE ambassadors was really helpful in understanding the course structure and requirements. The insight I got from this conversation was a significant factor in my final decision for wanting to study at Imperial. I felt that if I were given the chance, I would love to become an ambassador in turn to help prospective student in their postgraduate search. I also applied because I thought that it would enable me to take part in Imperial’s community life as a whole, connect with other ambassadors and share my positive experience with prospective students.
