Why did you choose to study MSc Strategic Marketing at Imperial College Business School?
I chose the MSc Strategic Marketing programme at the Business School primarily because of the reputation of Imperial as one of the best and most renowned universities in the world. I also chose this programme because it offered a very wide and diverse curriculum which touches upon various subject in marketing such as Digital Marketing and Marketing Analytics which I felt would truly provide me with all the tools I need to progress in my career.
What advice would you give to a prospective student considering studying here?
Make advantage of all the golden opportunities that the programme provides you with such as the lectures from world renowned marketers and businessmen. Ask a lot of questions and challenge yourself and you will be rewarded with a plethora of knowledge be it from the world-class faculty or even your colleagues who come from diverse backgrounds.
What is your fondest memory from your time at the Business School? / What do you miss most from your days at the Business School?
My fondest memory at the Business School was when my team won the Santander Entrepreneurship challenge, after all the hard work and time invested in developing the project it was truly a well-deserved reward for our team and it will be a moment that I will always cherish for the rest of my life.
I miss the whole experience itself, from the challenging yet extremely interesting projects that we have to develop for our courses to interacting with my amazing course colleagues, it is truly a priceless experience.
How has the Business School helped develop your career?
The Business School and the programme helped me to harness my skills as a marketer and to mature as a person. It has also given me specific quantitative and qualitative skills which help me to analyse topics from a strategic perspective which in turn help me become a better decision maker and a better manager.
How did you benefit from the services provided by the Business School’s Career and Professional Development Services Team?
The Career and Professional Development Service helped me to develop my CV by giving me key tips and do’s and don’ts. They have also assisted me in training for interviews and helped me gain a better understanding of what employers look for in a prospective candidate, therefore it is safe to say that I have definitely benefited from the career services by landing a job with a multinational company.
