Juliette Hoffmann

Upon completion of my BSc Psychology degree at Durham University, I knew I wanted to study something more vocational and multi-faceted. My decision to study MSc Strategic Marketing therefore was primarily due to its relevance in our daily lives. Marketing is one of the few areas in which one can be analytical, logical, strategic and creative. In such a fast-paced and dynamic industry, I wanted to learn as much as possible about the most current and relevant trends in marketing today.

The lecturers at Imperial College come from a range of professional backgrounds and demonstrate the marriage between theory and practice in such a clear manner. Their experience brings concepts to life in the lecture theatre, making each lesson relevant, interesting and interactive. Despite me not having had any previous marketing experience in an academic context, the course is designed in such a way that every student feels supported yet challenged. The group work, careers services and incredible location are just several other of the many reasons I would encourage anyone to apply!

I chose to apply for the Student Ambassador role because I want to help those who are in a position I was once in too. Investing the time and effort into choosing not only a programme but an institution is not to be underestimated. I am incredibly proud to be a student at Imperial College London and would be more than happy to share my experiences, from the application process right through to life at the university. Please feel free to get in touch!
