Wanzhaung Eco-City (China)
The site for this proposed Eco-city is close to Langfang, located half way between Beijing and Tianjin and the masterplanner is Arup. Click here for more information.
Arup was commissioned by SIIC for this project. The development site is within easy reach of Shanghai and its suburbs and is adjacent to Dianshan lake. The masterplan design was inspired by traditional Chinese water towns. For more information, click here
Tangye New Town (China)
Tangye is a rich archaeological heritage site that can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. Arup was asked to review the Jinan Government’s town plan and made recommendations to improve the development in an integrated and sustainable way. For more information, click here
Changxing Eco-City (China)
proposed as Beijing’s first sustainable city, Arup’s East Asia planning team are developing a masterplan for an Eco-city in Changxindian, Fengtai District. It is one of the first private sector led Eco-city developments in China. For more information, click here
