Entrepreneur Types_Serial, Habitual, Transnational_Returnee

Work in this area focuses on different types of entrepreneurs – serial, habitual, transnational/returnee — and examines issues related to how these different types of entrepreneurs set up, manage, and grow their businesses. Some of the key questions we seek to understand pertain to how serial entrepreneurs orchestrate synergistic resources across a portfolio of ventures, whether and with what effect do serial entrepreneurs make changes to the external context of the successive ventures they create, the dynamics of how returnee and transnational entrepreneurs in India and China enter new markets and the impact they have on the economy, and how habitual entrepreneurs vary in terms of the extent and nature of their multiple entrepreneurial ventures.
