  • Dr Markus Perkmann's paper ‘Trading off revealing and appropriating in drug discovery: the role of trusted intermediaries' accepted for Best Paper Proceedings, Academy of Management Conference, 2009.
  • Dr Paola Criscuolo won an award in the Best Paper Proceedings for ‘Outside in, inside out: the impact of knowledge heterogeneity, intra and extra organizational ties on innovative status‘ at the Academy of Management Conference, 2009.
  • Dr Ritsuko Ozaki organised the second ‘Univer sity of Tokyo - Imperial College London Joint Symposium on Innovation in Energy Systems' inSeptember 2009.
  • Dr Oliver Alexy was a finalist for the Best Dissertations Award at the Academy of Management Conference 2009 in and the DRUID Best Doctoral Dissertation Award  2009, Denmark.
  • Dr Ammon Salter and Professor Bart Clarysse awarded the IAMOT Research Publication Award during the annual International Conference 2009.
  • Dr Anna Canato's paper "Do organisations dream of electric sheep? A model of routines change through identity adaptation" (joint with Stefano Brusoni) awarded the first award at the Organization Science Winter Conference
