Led by Professor Richard Green, the Department of Management was created in 2014 when the former Organisation and Management Group merged with the Health Management Group. Within Management, there are five core disciplinary areas – Economics; Health Economics Policy and Management; Marketing; Operations Management; Strategy and Organisational Behaviour – making this the largest and most broad-ranging of our three departments.
While areas of the School reflect the scientific, medical and technological association with Imperial, the Department of Management’s disciplines are associated with a more traditional business school. Members of the department have strong national and international links with academic and corporate partners around the world and their work has had considerable impact on policy and practice.
