CMBOR Launches Latest Private Equity Demystified Book
The Centre for Management Buy-Out Research (CMBOR) launched its updated book Private Equity Demystified on 9 December, an explanatory guide to private equity activities and participants, that summarises CMBOR’s academic research into international private equity transactions. The third edition is co-authored by John Gilligan and Mike Wright, whilst edited by Katerina Joannou.
Corporate Financier magazine covers the book launch with an extensive feature, including an interview with Professor Mike Wright, CMBOR Director and Head of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Department, who says ‘the market has changed considerably …. A vast amount of change has happened that we could not have foretold at time of writing the first edition. We want the book to keep abrest of the changes in the market, and inform commentators, policy-makers and practitioners.’
Supported by the The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the publication of this third edition is accompanied by two videos of panel discussions giving an overview of current trends and expert interviews (below).
