The 2018/19 Programme of Workshops is currently in development.
The Cancer Research UK Imperial Centre coordinates workshops specialising in particular areas of cancer research, bringing together researchers from across Imperial College London, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and through the Cancer Research Centre of Excellence (CRCE), our partners at the Institute of Cancer Research.
Eligibility: These events are open to staff from any department of Imperial, ICHT, ICR and RMH.
Engineering Solutions to a Clinical Problem - a monthly clinician-led dialogue presenting challenges from the clinic for engineers and physical scientists to think on! Complete with beer and pizza to get the scientists converging. Registration is essential: CR-UK.Centre@Imperial.ac.uk
CRCE Workshops - a partnership between Imperial and the ICR
The format for each workshop is a half day meeting with short presentations from six to 10 clinicial and academic scientists with plenty of time for discussions and networking. The purpose of these meetings is to promote collaboration and develop new research proposals.
