How to book an employer place for the Online Summer Recruitment Fair 2021

The Online Summer Recruitment Fair provides you with the opportunity to highlight your immediate graduate, internship opportunities and raise your organisations profile to all Imperial College students. All year groups will be encouraged to attend, from first years to finalists, so this will offer a great recruitment opportunity to reach out to our students who are looking for either an immediate graduate role or a summer internship this summer. It is also a great opportunity to raise your profile for immediate and future opportunities to all current Imperial College students.

When is the online fair?

Wednesday 2 June, 10:00 - 16:00

Cost for employers to attend

Organisations with 10 or more employees

£300 + VAT.

Organisations with less than 10 employees

£100 + VAT.

What is included as part of this online event?

The fair will consist of two elements allowing you to raise your profile and talk directly to our students:

Individual virtual stand

You will have your own virtual stand featuring a brief description of your organisation.

In addition, we will be producing an e-brochure which will include a wider range of information and we will use the details that you supply in your booking form.

This will include:

  • A brief description of your organisation
  • Application information and deadlines
  • Information about the departments that you are interested in
  • Details of whether you sponsor visas
  • Links to your website, social media and YouTube video(s)


Live student chats

You can chat directly to students via open group sessions and individual one to one timed slots. 

Live group chats

These are live, open sessions where you can host multiple students and talk to them in an open forum. Students will be able to drop-in at anytime during the open group chat. You can set how long you wish to offer a live group chat, so you can offer this for the whole event or just at specified times.

One to one sessions

You can also offer individual one to one sessions for students to book up in advance. This provides the more personal touch and will help students to find out information that is specific to their circumstances. You can have as many representatives as you want to schedule in the one to one sessions and again these can be throughout the whole event or at times when you are available. For example, representative one could be available from 10.00 – 16.00, whereas representative 2 could do 10.00 – 11.00 and 14.00 – 15.00.

Once you submit your booking form the Careers Service will then review and once confirmed, you will be able to access your virtual stand and start creating your live chat schedule. 

Bookings made before Friday 7 May will be included in the event e-brochure. Bookings will remain open until Friday 21 May but bookings made after Friday 7 May will not appear in the e-brochure.

Advertising opportunities

As part of the event we will be producing an accompanying e-brochure. This provides additional opportunities to raise your profile to our students. The following advertising opportunities are available:
