China Careers Fairs
Due to COVID-19 restrictions our usual careers fairs in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong are being replaced by a series of online careers events run between 2 - 13 August 2021.
We collaborate with LSE to deliver a series of online events Careers in China (Mainland & Hong Kong SAR) 2021 as an alternative to our normal in person careers fairs in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. These events are targeted at students looking to return to China after graduating. Students from Cambridge, Kings College London, University College London (UCL), Columbia and Chicago universities are also invited to participate.
The Careers in China (Mainland & Hong Kong SAR) events are aimed at any native speaking student but particularly penultimate year, final year and graduate students. It is not necessary to be a native speaker for the Hong Kong opportunities.
The online events will include online industry panels, employer presentations, Q&A sessions and a day of an online careers fair where you will be able to talk live to recruiters from the participating organisations. This will offer a suitable alternative to the usual physical careers fairs that we have run in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong for over 10 years.
Benefits of attending
- It is the best way to engage with many recruiters from multinationals, financial, government and manufacturing organisations who have a strong presence in China.
- You will greatly improve your chances of success by engaging with employers and obtain information about recruitment and selection processes.
We are operating a fully online service to support efforts of social distancing to help stop the spread of COVID-19 (In line with Imperial College London advice,) while maintaining a service to students, alumni and employers. Please see our information for students and alumni during COVID-19.
Below you can see the Careers In China 2020 (Mainland & Hong Kong SAR) brochure to give you an idea of the type of organisation that may be attending again in 2021.
