Imperial College launches new experts guide, now also online

The Imperial College Media Guide 2001/2, containing expertise and contact details for over 700 of the College's academic staff, is launched today at the BA Festival of Science in Glasgow.

Copies of the Media Guide are available in the Press Centre now, and will be mailed out to work addresses early next week.

The Guide is also available for the first time in its most up to date and fully searchable form online at http://www.ic.ac.uk/mediaguide

Home and mobile numbers of many experts in the Guide are held by the press office. The office is staffed from 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday, available on +44 (0)20 7594 6701/2, and out of hours the duty press officer is available on +44 (0)7803 886248.

Reminder: All journalists at the Festival are invited to the Imperial College/New Scientist/COPUS press reception from 6-8pm this evening in the Hunterian Museum (opposite the Festival press centre).
