We are Imperial’s Design and Editorial team – an in-house creative services department.
We’re here to make Imperial look and sound great. We shape the Imperial story through our original designs, engaging photography and creative copy lines, as well as overseeing the use of the visual and verbal identity across all functions. We’re experts at devising creative solutions to amplify your messages and are experienced at planning and running creative campaigns.

We work with colleagues in the Communications division, stakeholders across the university, and with partner organisations, to provide solutions that build our brand, enhance our reputation, deliver strategic objectives and produce results.
Our audiences stretch across all the university’s touch points including prospective students and parents, current students and staff, alumni, community outreach, business partners, industry, companies, healthcare providers, government stakeholders and beyond.
Our Editorial team are expert writers, editors, proofreaders and tone of voice specialists who can craft campaign messaging and content to help you achieve your aims. Our Design team of talented graphic designers and creative directors will bring your message to life using Imperial’s visual identity and their own creative ideas. Our Photography team can illustrate your work through the use of stunning photography, image sourcing and the management of the university’s Asset Library.
