The digital teaching room, or 'zoom room' can be used as a teaching lounge for live sessions with students online, video conference calls, meetings and experimentation with other digital assets in learning and teaching. 

 

Facilities and equipment 

  • Light-weight sofas and soft seating for quick and easy reconfiguration
  • Wireless presentation facilities, including an ipad controller, and 2 large screens for video conferencing and screen sharing (within the room)

Capacity 

For in person meetings, workshops or presentations, the room can comfortably hold up to 14 people. 

Using the zoom software, participants in the room can view up to 49 online participants on each screen, whilst a video meeting/ live teaching session can accommodate up to 1000 remote participants.
