How your information is and will be communicated with staff in the college
Information provided to the Disability Advisory Service will never be shared with anyone who is not directly involved in your personal student experience, and will only be shared if you have signed a disclosure form when you met with a member of the DAS team. This can include, for example: the Departmental Disability Officer, the student accommodation office, or the Health Centre.

How your information is and will be communicated with your parents or carer or relations
Once you enroll as a student at Imperial College, the Disability Advisory Service will never discuss your disability with anyone in your family, unless we have been given specific, explicit, written consent to do so by yourself.

How to request information held by the Disability Advisory Service or the College
If you would like a copy of any of the reports or information held by the Disability Advisory Service on yourself, then please email us on disabilities@imperial.ac.uk to request this. Please note that in some cases it may take up to seven days for us to retrieve this information from our archives.

Retention of student information after graduation or leaving the College
We hold information for five years after your graduation.
