The MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures covers a wide range of topics. Each student is able to conduct four months of individual research on a topic of choice that culminates in a thesis submitted in September. This research interest is also the foundation for a presentation given during the Sustainable Energy Futures Annual Conference.

This year, the presentations have been organised into the following seven overarching themes:

  1. Low Carbon Living and Transportation
  2. Low Carbon Technological Development
  3. Policy, Markets and Governance
  4. Energy Systems Transitions for Commercial and Industrial Sectors
  5. Supporting the Grid
  6. Energy for Development
