The MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures covers a wide range of topics. Each student is able to conduct four months of individual research on a topic of choice that culminates in a thesis submitted in September. This research interest is also the foundation for a presentation given during the Sustainable Energy Futures Annual Conference.

This year, the presentations have been organised into the following six overarching themes:

  1. Hydrogen Systems and Carbon Capture Technologies
  2. Energy Markets
  3. Energy Policy, Governance and Infrastructure
  4. Solar and Wind Energy Systems
  5. Low-Carbon Cities and Sustainable Transport
  6. Energy Storage Systems
