Retro bicycle handlebars

Bicycle parking facilities are provided across College campuses to meet the needs of cyclists

Please contact Security on 58900 if:

  • You wish to leave your bicycle for more than 2 weeks.
  • You are going abroad as part of your work or studies and would like to leave your bicycle at the College.
  • You would like to donate your bicycle to the Bicycle Auction.

All bicycle storage is for active, daily use and not for long-term storage. Please do not store your bicycle at the College for more than two weeks. During the year the suspension of bicycle parking areas and the clearance of abandoned bicycles takes place.

Due to space constraints, if a bicycle is considered to have been abandoned, it will be removed.

  • One month's notice will be given prior to removal.
  • Bicycles not claimed will be sold by the Students' Union to raise money for RAG (Raising and Giving Society).
  • Bicycle Auctions usually take place twice a year, in autumn and spring terms.
  • Read the  (pdf)

Occasional suspension of bicycle parking areas is required to enable maintenance access to particular areas.

  • A minimum of 2 weeks notice is given to bicycle owners to remove their bicycles from specified areas.
  • If bicycles are not removed by the owner after this time, they will be removed by Security.
