Our classes are very popular in order to avoid disappointment we suggest booking as far in advance as possible. We advise members to arrive at least 5 minutes before the class start time to secure their place and set up your area (if required); this is so can get the most of the class and enjoy their experience with out disruptions during the session.
We appreciate that sometimes you will not be able to attend a booked class, however this should be communicated to Move Imperial at the earliest opportunity in order for space to be made available for others to attend. Having a fully booked class that is not fully attended essentially results in disappointment for members who wanted to attend, but couldn't because the class was fully booked. If you know you will not be able to attend a class, please let us know as soon as possible. Any member has the ability to cancel their booked classes up to (but not within) the 2 hours before the advertised start time.
Cancelling or changing your class is easy:
- Cancel or change your class online
- Submit a ticket through our ASK system
- Pay as you go members: We do not offer refunds if you would like to cancel your class, however you can rebook if it is requested before the two hour window.
If you do not attend a pre-booked class or request a class cancellation before the 2 hour allowed window, the following policies will apply:
Class cancellations for unlimited class memberships (staff/students):
After the first class which you forget to cancel, you will receive a warning email outlining the class which you have missed. If you miss two or more classes within the same term you will be sent a payment link for a £1 penalty per class that is missed which must be paid within 7 days. If you do not pay within the requested 7 days, a block will be placed on your Move Imperial account and you will not be able to book further classes or access Move Imperial facilities until the penalty is paid.
Class Cancellations for pay as you (staff/students):
After the first class which you forget to cancel, you will receive a warning email outlining the class which you have missed. If you have booked a class on a Pay as you Go membership bases, but need to cancel within the 2 hour window, no refund or re-booking will be offered.
The £1 penalties will be donated to a charity each year to support the work they do. To engage our members we will open this selected charity up to our members each year to vote on. For the 2019-2020 academic year our chosen charity is Mind, who are a charity we have worked with in the past and believe in the great work they do. We will be sure to update our members about this donation at the end of the year.
