DESCRIPTION:The annual Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) Festival of Scien
 ce will run all day Friday 21st April in Sir Alexander Fleming Building (S
 outh Kensington Campus). The festival is a chance for CDT students to show
 case current research and scientific issues to the community of Imperial C
 ollege London. This year’s theme “Science and Art – Exploring Creati
 vity” will explore the features of the creative process.Creative thinkin
 g plays a central role in science. A researcher needs to be imaginative to
  set up goals and to find unexplored solutions to research problems. Scien
 ce and technology in turn influence the ways artists can express their cre
 ativity\, enhancing the possibilities in fields like painting\, music\, ar
 chitecture. The Festival will be focused on investigating the creative pro
 cess in science and art\, and how one field affects the other.
