Amanda is an experienced clinician having graduated from University College London in 1992 with degrees in medicine and psychology. She spent five years in hospital medicine before specialising in general practice, and has worked as a committed GP partner in an outstanding Chester practice for the last fifteen years.

Using the mind management model developed by Professor Steve Peters, author of ‘The Chimp Paradox’, Amanda will look at how we can get the best from ourselves, and others. By understanding how our minds work, we can learn to manage our emotions more effectively, and ultimately achieve greater happiness and wellbeing. These emotional skills can be applied to all areas of life.

The talk will deliver key concepts in an enjoyable way using lots of real life examples.

Chimp Management is a consultancy group working in Olympic sport, corporate, business, healthcare and education to help people be happy and successful through gaining insight and emotional skill.
