We are excited to announce that the Cardio Respiratory Interface Section External Seminar Series is back! The first talk in the CRI seminar series comes from Professor Gisli Jenkins on “Priming the alveolus: do your genes and the environment matter in Acute Lung Injury?”.

Professor Jenkins moved to Imperial in 2021 to lead the Margaret Turner Warwick Centre for Fibrosing Lung Diseases at the NHLI. He is a respiratory physician and cell & molecular biologist studying how the lung responds to injury to understand what drives progressive pulmonary fibrosis rather healing, repair and regeneration.
