SUMMARY:ECRs Networking Session 1: Accelerating Biosciences Discovery
DESCRIPTION:Accelerating Biosciences discovery in FoNS – a series of even
ts dedicated to Advanced Research Fellows and Lecturers to showcase their
research to Imperial’s academic community\n(this event is for Imperial r
esearchers only)\nPlease REGISTER by the 29th June. Joining instructions
(Microsoft Teams link) will be sent to you the day before the event.\nThe
Accelerating Biosciences theme aims to bring together expertise from acro
ss College and external stakeholders to integrate automation\, AI\, biotec
hnology and molecular tools and technologies to systematically address fun
damental questions in biology. Technological advances will both lead new b
iological discovery\, rapidly identifying targets for biological intervent
ion\, as well as translating discovery into applied biotechnology applicat
ions (in drug discovery\, food security\, industrial biotechnology etc).\n
The FoNS theme champions  Professors Ramon Vilar and Geoff Baldwin have o
rganised a new series of showcasing/networking events for Early Career Aca
demics in FoNS within the ‘Accelerating Biosciences’ cross-departmenta
l theme. Please read below the schedule for this first session. [Note: we
are having our second session on the 13th July\, please check schedule and
