We are delighted to have Professor Dominique Heymann, Professor and Chair of the Department of Histology and Embryology of the University of Nantes (FR), talking about his research interests.

Professor Heymann directed a research laboratory (INSERM UMR 957) studying the pathophysiology of bone resorption and pathogenesis of bone sarcomas until the end of 2016. From 2016 to 2020, he led the Sarcoma Research Unit (European Associated Laboratory, Inserm/ University of Sheffield / University of Nantes) based in Sheffield.  From September 2017, he joined the ICO Integrated Cancer Centre (Saint-Herblain, FR) where he is the head of the biological resource centre – tumour tissue bank and the “Tumour Heterogeneity and Precision Medicine” lab.
