 the Institute:\nThe Institute for Deep Tech Entrepreneurship aims to under
 stand and address the critical barriers to the successful commercialisatio
 n of Deep Tech ventures. Many of the world’s most pressing problems — 
 from addressing climate change\, developing sustainable food and water sys
 tems\, and improving human health and well-being — depend critically on 
 the successful commercialisation of fundamental science and engineering in
 novations that are often referred to collectively as “Deep Tech”. Deep
  Tech is a cornerstone of continued advances in new technological paradigm
 s that arise from fundamental science and tangible innovation.\nThe Instit
 ute for Deep Tech Entrepreneurship will build on the College’s strong en
 trepreneurial culture and outstanding established Science\, Engineering an
 d Medical research to position the College as a global leader in the desig
 n and implementation of entrepreneurial funding models\, frameworks\, proc
 esses and tools necessary to commercialise Deep Tech innovations emerging
