The service begins with the anthem ‘God grant with grace’ by Thomas Tallis (c.1505-1585); This is a musical setting of Psalm 67 also known as  Tallis’ Canon. The service ends with a contemporary piece by Bob Chilcott (b.1955) exploring the well-loved piece by Tallis. The Verses and

We also have Responses by William Byrd (1543-1623) and a musical setting for the Psalm composed for each service by students from the Choir.  

The musical setting for the Psalm is by Maria Portela, a current student at Imperial College.

The music for the Canticles, the Magnificat, and Nunc Dimittis, is by Charles Stanford (1852-1924) in B flat. Stanford was one of the founding professors of the Royal College of Music and a local resident.
