Emily

Emily Archibald is a Geochemistry PhD student at Imperial College and has a MGeol, BSc degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Leeds. In this webinar she will be talking about how geochemical and paleomagnetic analysis can be used to interpret provenance and sediment transport pathways, specifically applied to the Ellsworth Mountains in West Antarctica, used to help understand the vulnerability of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet with future warming. You’ll begin to consider how your A Level subjects may lead you into this area of research, and how you can make a lasting impact in climate science.
