All members of Imperial, friends and family are welcome to an art exhibition that explores the life of science. As part of the Good Science Project, a dozen scientists have been working with artist-in-residence Ella Miodownik to fashion an artwork loosely based on the various qualities that influence scientific research, especially time, balance and emotion.
You are warmly invited to the private view and reception, where the scientists will describe how they approached the project, and how the artwork was made. There will be contributions also from Ella Miodownik, from ethnographer Mikayla Hu and from videographer Madisson McKone. Expect a fascinating and inspiring opportunity to see your science, and your research, in a new light.
Private view and reception: Thursday July 25th, 4pm – 7pm
Exhibition: Friday July 26th, 11am – 5pm
The Private View on July 25th is now fully booked, but please come and see the exhibition on Friday July 26th. The organisers and participants will be there to answer your questions and explain the work. Booking is not necessary for visiting the exhibition during its Friday opening times.
