An increasing number of Postdocs and Fellows are needing to supervise people doing systematic reviews as well as write their own. These originated in the Faculty of Medicine but the Library are now helping people across many different departments.

The Medicine Liaison Librarians are running this session which is aimed at everyone who would like to know a bit more about the process and check that they’re giving the correct advice to those they are supervising.

The session will be informed by the questions that attendees ask before it. These could include:

  • What are the differences between different types of reviews (e.g. scoping review Vs systematic review)?
  • How can I create an appropriate research question for the review?
  • What are the PRISMA flowchart and guidelines?
  • What software can be used to help us screen our results?

This is a free workshop specifically for postdocs and research fellows at Imperial.

If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours in advance or are absent from the pop-up without any notice, your department will be charged £25, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
