SUMMARY:Abdus Salam Colloquium: Evgeny Sobko – Deep Learning based discov
 ery of Integrable Systems
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nDeep Learning based discovery of Integrable Systems\nAbst
ract : Integrable systems are exactly solvable models that play a central
role in QFT\,\n\nstring theory and statistical physics offering an ideal
setting for understanding complex physical\nphenomena and developing nove
l analytical methods. However\, the discovery of new integrable sys-\ntems
remains a major open challenge due to the nonlinearity of the Yang–Baxt
er equation (YBE)\nthat defines them\, and the vastness of its solution sp
ace. Here we present the first AI-based frame-\nwork that enables the disc
overy of new quantum integrable systems in exact analytical form. Our\nmet
hod combines an ensemble of neural networks\, trained to identify high-pre
cision numerical so-\nlutions to the YBE\, with an algebraic extraction pr
ocedure based on the Reshetikhin integrability\ncondition\, which reconstr
ucts the corresponding Hamiltonian families analytically. When applied\nto
spin chains with three- and four-dimensional site spaces\, we discover hu
ndreds of previously un-\nknown integrable Hamiltonians. Remarkably\, thes
e Hamiltonians organize into rational algebraic\nvarieties\, and we conjec
ture that this rationality holds universally — revealing a previously\nu
nexplored connection between quantum integrability and algebraic geometry.
By unlocking inte-\ngrable systems far beyond the reach of traditional me
thods\, this AI-driven approach substantially\nexpands the landscape of ex
actly solvable models and opens a scalable path to further discoveries.\n\
