DESCRIPTION:The Centre for Evolution and Cancer at the  Institute of Cance
 r Research are excited to announce their 2nd edition of the Cancer Popula
 tion Genetics Club (CANPOP).  The meeting will be held on Monday 15th J
 une from 1-5pm at the Institute of Cancer Research in Chelsea (123 Old 
 Brompton Road\, London SW7 3RP\; Nearest Tube: Gloucester Rd).\n\nCANPOP i
 s a new initiative of the Centre for Evolution and Cancer at the ICR and a
 ims to provide an informal platform to bring together researchers interest
 ed in integrating theory and data to better understand how cancers evolve.
  After a fantastic turnout at our first meeting in December\, this second 
 edition will feature a series of short presentations from selected abstrac
 ts and a keynote from Martin Taylor (University of Edinburgh). We gratef
 ully acknowledge the support of Novogene and Oxford Nanopore.\n\nThis even
 t is open to all. Registration is free and is now open (please email Maxim
 ilian Strobl for the registration link – m.strobl@imperial.ac.uk). \n\nT
 o submit an abstract for a short presentation\, please enter it during th
 e registration process and submit by Fri 10th April at 5pm. Registration 
 will remain open after the 10th\, but abstracts will no longer be accepted
 . Decisions on whether your abstract has been accepted will be circulated 
 by April 17th.\n\n\n\n
