DESCRIPTION:Our weekly Tuesday Mindfulness Meditation runs from 13:10–13:
 50. Please arrive a little early to find a space and settle in before the 
 meditation begins. Students and staff from Imperial\, RCA\, and RCM are we
 lcome to join for free. Simply drop in – there’s no need to book in ad
 vance.\nMindfulness can help you stay calm\, focused\, and better manage t
 he pressures of life. Everyone can benefit from Mindfulness\, but you migh
 t find it especially helpful if you are:\n\nfeeling stressed or overwhelme
 d\nstruggling to concentrate\nfeeling like a failure\n\n \n“The present
  is the only time that any of us have to be alive – to know anything –
  to perceive – to learn – to change – to heal. Mindfulness is the aw
 areness that emerges through paying attention\, on purpose\, in the presen
 t moment\, and non-judgementally\, to the unfolding of experience\, moment

 ving\n \nWhat is Mindfulness?\nMindfulness teaches you to pay attention t
 o the present moment through simple breathing and meditation practices. It
  helps you manage your thoughts and emotions by developing the ability to 
 notice them with acceptance and to step back from worry and negative think
 ing.\nYou can practise Mindfulness anywhere — on your own\, in a group s
 ession\, or one-to-one.\nThe Chaplaincy provides regular sessions on medit
 ation and Mindfulness\, which many students find helpful in managing stres
 s. You can also contact the Chaplains if you’d like a one-to-one convers
 ation about your meditation or Mindfulness practice\, or if you have any q
