SUMMARY:Complex Photonic transport: From Localization to On-Chip Hardware S
 ecurity
DESCRIPTION:Speaker : Dr  Himadri Sahoo\, (UT-TNW)\nAbstract:\nI will pres
ent a selection of my work on light transport in complex photonic systems\
, beginning with Anderson localization and anomalous transport in non-Herm
itian hybrid media\, and moving toward recent efforts on integrated photon
ic physical unclonable functions for secure authentication. I will briefly
discuss localization in hybrid plasmonic and spoof-SPP structures\, menti
on related studies in magnetic-fluid-based complex media\, and then focus
on current work on passive and active on-chip PUF architectures\, includin
 g ring-resonator networks and exceptional-point-inspired directions. The a
im is to highlight how concepts from complex wave transport can be carried
into photonic hardware for information security.\nHimadri Sahoo | Postdoc
