SUMMARY:Hello World Hack | Hackathon for Girls (Years 3-5)
DESCRIPTION:Hello World Hack is a one‑day hackathon for girls aged 7–10
 \, introducing them to coding and problem‑solving through hands‑on act
 ivities such as programming robots and designing apps. Led by Imperial sci
 entists and engineers who identify as women\, the event provides positive 
 STEM role models and an inspiring introduction to maths and computing.\n\n
 This is a girls-only event. Each school may bring a maximum of 15 students
  formed from teams of 4-5 people from across years 3\, 4 and 5. Children m
 ust be accompanied by one or more responsible adult\, where adults can be 
 of any gender.\n\nRegistration deadline: 26 May (5pm)\n👉 Register your 
 interest via the short expression of interest form (linked above).\n\nScho
 ols with limited computing provision or a high proportion of pupils eligib
 le for free school meals are strongly encouraged to apply.\n\nLearn more a

 from Y3\, Y4 and Y5 who attended the event had an incredibly positive expe
 rience with some being exposed to coding for the very first time. They hav
 e since shared with peers how interesting and enjoyable they found the day
  and this has had a positive impact on the attendees and others. It was a 
 pleasure and an honour to see the groups of girls from our schools and oth
 er schools make so much progress throughout the day whilst having an “aw
 esome time” as it was described to me.”\n“The girls spoke at length 
 all the way back to school and the following day about the trip. This was 
 a very different experience for them and the exposure to STEM activities w
 as much needed. The day … has the girls yearning for more STEM activitie
