DESCRIPTION:We are delighted that this service has two new pieces of music.
  We have the first performance of a new setting of the Verses and Response
 s for Evensong by Judith Ward. We also have a new psalm chant by Artie Hai
 r\, a member of the choir and student of Life Sciences.\nThe Introit is 
 ‘Ascendo ad patrem’ by Sr Sulpitia Lodovica Cesis written in 1619. Our
  Ascension Eve service concludes with Gerald Finzi’s 1951 anthem ‘God 
 is Gone up.’\nEvensong is open to all members of the College\, the RCA a
 nd RCM\, alumni\, and the public. The service happens every two weeks in t
 erm-time.  You can engage with the service in your own way.  We know tha
 t people of different faith traditions and world views find Choral Evenson
