 he NHS has legally binding targets of net zero emissions by 2045 for its s
 upply chain that accounts for approximately 75% of the NHS’s total carbo
 n footprint. This is a transformation of unprecedented scale that involves
  over 600\,000 products sourced from 80\,000 suppliers. At the heart of th
 is transformation lies medical technology. With the NHS spending over £9 
 billion annually on medical devices and equipment\, manufacturers\, suppli
 ers\, and innovators who move early on reusability\, remanufacturing\, and
  sustainable design will be best positioned to shape and win the contracts
  of the future. \nYour expertise and voice are essential to this conversat
 ion. We are convening a workshop at Imperial College\, in collaboration wi
 th the Centre for Sectoral Economic Performance and the Association of Bri
 tish HealthTech Industries\, to bring together industry leaders\, clinicia
 ns\, hospital management and procurement leaders to explore what this tran
 sition means in practice: the evidence gaps\, the commercial opportunities
 \, the design challenges\, and the policy levers that will determine who l
 eads the UK’s sustainable medical technology revolution.  \n
