DESCRIPTION:Title: The Beauville–Voisin conjecture for double EPW quartic
 s\nSpeaker: Carlo Mazzanti (Bielefeld)\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbstract: Chow rings o
 f hyperkähler varieties are best understood in settings where one has str
 ong control over their geometry\, such as for Fano varieties of lines on c
 ubic fourfolds\, while the picture is less complete for moduli spaces of s
 heaves on K3 surfaces. Double EPW quartics are moduli spaces of twisted sh
 eaves\, but also admit two other constructions: via conics in Verra fourfo
 lds and as lagrangian degeneracy loci. In this talk\, I will explain how t
 hese constructions interact and can be exploited to prove the Beauville–
 Voisin and Franchetta conjectures for them.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nSom
