DESCRIPTION:This annual event is a celebration of the research being carrie
 d out by the Early Career Researcher community at Imperial College London.
 \nIt is ECRI’s mission to empower ECRs to raise their impact both withi
 n research and beyond. We aim to foster cross-disciplinary connections a
 nd would like to invite you to join us as our ECR’s showcase their resea
 rch to the wider community.\nIn parallel we will be running a competiti
 on for participants to communicate their research via a short presentat
 ion pitch\, with a chance to win prizes. \nCompetitors will be assessed o
 n their ability to explain their research in a way that can be shared with
  the public. Our judges will also be assessing the visual impact & creativ
 ity of each presentation.\nPrizes\nPrizes will be awarded for 1st\, 2nd & 
 3rd place based on the judges scores. There will also be a People’s Choi
 ce Prize which will be voted for by visitors to the Showcase event.\nFeel 
 free to drop in\, meet our brilliant ECR community and find out more about
  the range of research taking place across Imperial. And don’t forget to
  cast your vote for the highly coveted People’s Choice prize!\n\nThe ful

 ew on our website one week before the event.
