DESCRIPTION:Title\nExponential mixing and enhanced dissipation on the unit 
 sphere via Rossby-Haurwitz flows\nAbstract\nWe exhibit an incompressible v
 elocity field on the two-dimensional unit sphere such that the time evolut
 ion of any mean-free initial data passively advected by the velocity field
  is mixed exponentially fast. In the presence of molecular diffusivity\, w
 e show that the solution to the associated advection-diffusion equation ex
 periences enhanced dissipation with optimal decay rates. The mixing veloci
 ty field is an alternating combination of two Rossby-Haurwitz flows with r
 andom amplitudes and constitutes a spherical analogue to the sine shear-al
 ternating example of Pierrehumbert.\nThis is a joint work with Marc Nualar
