SUMMARY:London Hypoxia Networking Meeting
DESCRIPTION:We’re pleased to announce that the London Hypoxia Networking
(LHN) meeting is returning on 3-4 September 2026 to Imperial College
London\, and registration is now open.\nThis London Hypoxia Networking (L
HN) meeting will introduce attendees to the dynamic and rapidly expanding
field of hypoxia research with growing implications ranging from basic mol
ecular biology to vascular homeostasis and medicine.\nChanges in cellular
oxygen trigger a broad array of adaptive responses (both acute and chronic
) that have fundamental implications on physiological homeostasis and the
pathogenesis of numerous medical conditions. This meeting will bring toget
her hypoxia focused research groups from across the UK and by allowing att
endees to disseminate new scientific knowledge\, facilitate discussions an
d form new networks with the emphasis on the critical role of hypoxia in a
ll aspects of biomedical research\, and to form new collaborations.\nEarly
-confirmed speakers include:\n\nProf Sarah Walmsley\, University of Edinb
 urgh\nProf James Nathan\, University of Cambridge\nDr Katie O’Brian\,
 King’s College London\nLida Kabir\, Imperial College London\nDr Brian O
 rtmann\, Newcastle University\nDr Thomas Keeley\, University of Oxford\n
Andrew Cowburn\, Imperial College London\nDr Emily Flashman\, University
of Oxford\nDr Katharine Lodge\, Imperial College London\nProf Ester Hamm
 ond\, University of Oxford\nHudson Coates\, University of Cambridge\n\nA
 udience\nEarly-career researchers\, clinical academics\, students\, clinic
ians\, and principal investigators involved in hypoxia research across the
UK.\nOpportunities\nProvides a platform to showcase research\, network wi
th experts\, and facilitate discussion across career stages and institutio
ns.\nAims\nTo encourage collaboration between research institutes nationwi
de and raise the profile of hypoxia-driven research.\nRegister your compli
mentary place today to ensure you’re part of the growing conversation s
 urrounding hypoxia-driven research.\nEmail marketing@dwscientific.co.uk
