DESCRIPTION:Join Imperial’s new Centre for AI-Driven Innovation (CADI) fo
 r an Open House drinks reception on 14 October and learn how you can get i
 nvolved. CADI is a new capability established in partnership with the Worl
 d Economic Forum and the UK Government to accelerate the diffusion of high
  impact AI across the UK economy\, bringing together frontier research wit
 h industry data\, compute and real-world scaling experience. CADI aims to 
 provide a platform for researchers developing novel AI applications to par
 tner with industry and government to test and scale their ideas. Colleague
 s interested in collaborating or learning more are warmly invited to atten
 d the reception in the South Kensington main entrance. The reception will 
 begin at 4:30pm\, with brief remarks from the Centre team at 4:45pm\, fol
 lowed by networking and refreshments until 6:30pm. \nYou are very welcome
  to join us just before “The look of why: causality matters in medical 
 imaging AI”\, the inaugural lecture of Professor Ben Glocker\, which be
 gins at 5:30pm in the City and Guilds Building.
