SUMMARY:IDE Seminar Series – Dr Amy Wesolowski
DESCRIPTION:The control and elimination of malaria can be impacted by indiv
iduals being infected while traveling. Here\, we investigate how we can us
e behavioural data and parasite genomics to understand the connectivity of
parasites between different geographic locations. By combining modelling
approaches and data from endemic countries\, we identify when and where we
can leverage both types of information to understand the flow of malaria
 parasites.
