 ild Health\, of the Faculty of Population Health Sciences and Honorary Con
 sultant Respiratory Paediatrician at Great Ormond Street Hospital. From 20
 12-2022 she was Director of the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child
  Health and also served as Non-Executive Director of Great Ormond Street H
 ospital NHS Foundation Trust. She was Vice-Dean (Research) in the Faculty 
 of Population Health Sciences (2022-2026).  She has been appointed Vice P
 resident (Clinical) of the UK’s Academy of Medical Sciences from 2023-20
 27. She is Non-Executive Director of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Fo
 undation Trust (from September 2025)\, Trustee of the Medical Research Fou
 ndation and The Lister Institute. Her current research interest include cl
 inical studies of viral/host interactions in RSV bronchiolitis\, clinical 
 trials and systematic reviews of treatments for childhood respiratory dise
 ase. \nShe was awarded CBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours 2015\, f
 or service to the regulation of medicines for children. \n The lecture wi
 ll be followed by a Q&A session and drinks reception.\nPlease note this se
