DESCRIPTION:\nJoin the Cancer Research UK Convergence Science Centre\, Impe
 rial College London and The Institute of Cancer Research\, London\, for an
  afternoon bringing together academic researchers\, industry and start-ups
  to explore opportunities for collaboration in ultrasound research.\n \n\
 n\nThe event will showcase research and expertise across Imperial and ICR\
 , while giving industry participants the opportunity to share their priori
 ties and identify potential academic partners. Discussions will focus on h
 ow the Cancer Research UK Convergence Science Centre\, a joint initiative 
 between Imperial and ICR that supports and funded by Cancer Research UK\, 
 can help turn these connections into new collaborations\, including joint 
 research projects and support for funding applications.\n \nThe programme
  will include:\n\nOverview of the Imperial–ICR research vision and colla
 boration\nAcademic lightning talks showcasing research open for collaborat
 ion\nIndustry talks on areas where they are seeking collaboration\nPanel d
 iscussion on strengthening academic–industry engagement\nNetworking\n\n
