 , is a great way to find out more about studying MRes Biomedical Research\
 , and all its stream options\, at Imperial’s Faculty of Medicine.\nThis 
 virtual event will include:\n\nIntroduction to Imperial and the MRes in Bi
 omedical Research\nOverview of Streams\nQuestion and Answer Session with C
 ourse Directors\nStudent Perspective & Alumni Q&A\n\nThe BMR course and it
 s streams will give you the training required to embark on a career in bio
 medical research. Your work will be guided by experienced staff in one of 
 the world’s leading biomedical research institutions. Two five-month res
 earch projects will build your research skills which will be augmented wit
 h training in grant writing\, technical workshops\, and journal clubs.\nYo
 u have the option of choosing our general biomedical research stream\, or 
 one of six specialisms. All of our biomedical research streams have the sa
 me course structure and each stream has its own tailored set of projects a
 longside a core programme of lectures\, seminars and practical classes.\n\
 nGeneral Biomedical Research\nBacterial Pathogenesis and Infection\nData S
 cience\nEpidemiology\, Evolution and Control of Infectious Diseases\nMicro
 biome in Health and Disease\nMolecular Basis of Human Disease\nRespiratory
