SUMMARY:SciComm Series March with Sumana Shrestha
DESCRIPTION:I’m a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Cancer
  Research and UCL\, focusing on embryonal brain tumours. My research aims 
 to develop new models for childhood brain cancers\, hoping to lay the grou
 ndwork for future therapeutic advancements. In addition to my research\, I
  work with the illustration team at Knowing Neurons\, a non-profit organis
 ation committed to making neuroscience understandable and accessible to ev
 eryone. My journey into art started as a teenager with traditional pen-to-
 paper techniques\, which I explored during my GCSEs. After discovering Ado
 be Illustrator and Photoshop\, I’ve shifted mainly to digital art. Howev
 er\, I still enjoy working with gouache\, watercolour\, and acrylic whenev
 er I find the time.
