 ights from an editor”\nDr Ali Landman is the acting Editor-in-Chief of T
 he Lancet Child & Adolescent Health\, joining the journal after nearly 10 
 years as an editor at The Lancet Oncology. Ali earned her PhD in Cancer Bi
 ology from MIT in 2009 and pursued post-doctoral research in mouse models 
 of cancer at University of California\, San Francisco\, and University Col
 lege London (UK) and in neurodegenerative disease at MRC Harwell (UK)\, be
 fore joining The Lancet Group. She has a special interest in paediatric on
 cology and broader interests in the social and commercial determinants of
