DESCRIPTION:This inaugural event is a celebration of the research being car
 ried out by the Early Career Researcher community at Imperial College Lond
 on.\nIt is ECRI’s mission to empower ECRs to raise their impact both wi
 thin research and beyond. We aim to foster cross-disciplinary connections
  and would like to invite you to join us as our ECR’s showcase their re
 search to the wider community.\nIn parallel we will be running a compet
 ition for participants to communicate their research via a short presen
 tation pitch\, with a chance to win prizes. \nCompetitors will be assesse
 d on their ability to explain their research in a way that can be shared w
 ith the public. Our judges will also be assessing the visual impact & crea
 tivity of each presentation.\nPrizes\nPrizes will be awarded for 1st\, 2nd
  & 3rd place based on the judges scores. There will also be a People’s C
 hoice Prize which will be voted for by visitors to the Showcase event.\nFe
