 , is a great way to find out more about studying MSc Applied Multiomics in
  Biomedicine at Imperial’s Faculty of Medicine.\nThis virtual event will
  include presentations from the course and module leaders\, discussing tea
 ching\, research projects\, assessments\, and course delivery\, as well as
  also featuring a short session with former and current students. And is a
  great opportunity to quiz our teams and decide if this is the course is f
 or you. We look forward to seeing you there.\nAbout the course\nOur MSc Ap
 plied Multiomics in Biomedicine explores how ‘big data’ (omics) can be
  generated and used to understand the mechanisms underlying biological pro
 cesses and diseases on this Master’s course.\nDesigned for those interes
 ted in a career in modern biomedicine\, you will learn to extract relevant
  information and perform functional analysis on selected targets. During y
 our studies\, you will examine a range of new concepts in modern biomedica
 l research and improve your analytical skills in practical sessions.\nYou 
 will also apply novel experimental techniques in the laboratory to better 
 understand the causes\, and potential cures\, for diseases. A six-month re
 search project forms a major component of this course\, where you will bec
 ome a member of a host lab and undertake innovative research culminating i
 n an MSc thesis and oral assessment.
