 nsisting of a panel followed by an audience discussion. It is a rule of th
 e Forum that half of the time is given over to audience discussion. Do com
 e along expecting to be involved in lively discussion and debate. All Frid
 ay Forums are free with lunch provided and are open to all Imperial member
 s.\nThis Friday Forum will explore socially responsible science. With its
  new branding Imperial puts social responsibility at its core. But how sho
 uld we understand the term ‘Science for Humanity’? What directions doe
 s the term imply\, and what is the role of pure research in this framing o
 f academic life? When science funding is under threat in the USA\, how sho
 uld scientists best champion their value to society? And what research cul
 ture should we seek\, if are to take the bigger view\, and truly describe
